How to find the best related blogs to leave comments on

magnifying glass on a blog urlThe best related blogs to leave comments on are the ones that are do follow, have a domain extension that is somewhat seen as an authority and already are at the top of Google for the related keyword in your blog post.

But where do you find do follow related blogs to leave comments on? I hear you say and which domains are the ones that Google perceives to have high authority?

The best places to leave comments on as I was saying are the ones with do follow attributes.

How to make sure the comments are links are do follow

1. FireFox NoDofollow Add On

Whilst using FireFox (I mean like why would you use anything else), visit this NoDofollow Add On and install it.

This will allow you to go to a page that you want to leave comments on or add a link within your profile for a backlink and see if where your link would display would be do follow.

2. CTRL + U

You can always check the source code. The code that renders on a website or blog to display everything.

On windows based Internet Browsers (FireFox, Opera, Chrome + others), you can check the source code by holding down CTRL and pressing U.

How to use Google to find good related sources for backlinks

Here are a few phrases you can enter into Google to find those great backlinks:

“Your Keyword” + “do follow blog”

“Your Keyword” + “do follow blogs”

“Your Keyword” + “blogs”

Example

“affiliate marketing” + “do follow blog”

Just doing this alone will allow you to get results of do follow related blogs, remember every published page on your site needs some marketing and not just your main domain name.

A blog that promotes each published post or page will have more of an authority within its niche as long as it follows the basic blog post SEO guidelines as instructed in Ways to Improve your blog for 2011 Part 1.

@Mark: Because most people havent got a clue about SEO they abide by the SEO requirements – but they dont do this day in day out.

    Its a big strategy Mark

If i was doing the seo for your site and when i say SEO i mean the whole works.

I would look at who my main market is:

    Ravers
    Night Goers
    Halloween

    Just to name a few

    I would focus on writing
    articles on those things,
    press releases and i would
    make sure that UK demographic
would be the ones to read
    the content i made available

    I then would solely focus
    on driving traffic from those
ranges of people in the areas
    that they commonly associate

You have to think out the box.

Enjoy the posts, i have a lot of
good material, but the real stuff
    is on my list.

My advice, if you enjoy content
on a site, if they have a list – get on it
    immediately – myself I don’t bother to
    share the real gems publically

Wow, during the whole life of my ecommerce site, I have only ever paid for promotion to my home page and no one ever suggested to link my sections or individual products! I’m just trying to start my business again after over a year away and my PR has dropped to ZERO in that time :( I have decided that this time I’m going to learn SEO/SEM myself and will be reading a lot of your site over the next couple of weeks. Thanks, Mark.
