Set up Your Email Accounts In Cpanel

Once you have choosen your affordable unlimited 365 days a year 24/7 support hosting, you will now have cpanel and be able to follow this guide to setting up your formal email accounts.

These formal email accounts will make your whois information look more professional and you will be able to use them in your e-mail autoresponder and then use your free web based email account to get notified of all your mail by also setting up a forwarder which i will show you how to.

Setting up your formal e-mail account in cpanel

First log into your cpanel, near the top headlined Mail

You will be presented with this next page, were i have numbered it 1 you will enter your email name

Example for email name:

admin

Once you have entered in your email name, you will be presented with the password.

For security its better to click on password generator, select “Advanced Options »” assign 18 into the box where it says “12″, click on “Generate Password”, then copy that password and put it in a text file/notepad, then check the “I have copied this password in a safe place.”, then click on “Use Password” and then to finish it all click on “Create Account”

That’s it! You now know hwo to succesfully set up a secure email account in cpanel.

You can use this email to add to your domain name to make it look more professional and I think this will give your domain more authority than a free web based email account being showed.

Before you go ahead and start using that, you are going to need to set up a forwarder. Basically its a hassle to access your cpanel to view emails with your new formal email address, you can use your free web based email to receive any mail thats sent to your formal email address, so you can keep it moving.

Log into cpanel and under Mail select Forwarders – visual below

Next you click on “Add forwarder”

You then will be presented on a 3 step process screen

Enter the name of the email you set up to have all mail forwarded from, then in the next box enter in your free web based email address (use Gmail) and then click on add forwarder. Yes it really was that simple
